When emotions are triggered by occurrences, don’t always consider you’re being attacked by the enemy.
God has a way of using those triggers to call up corrosive elements of our psyche or emotions He desires to deliver from our lives.
Ever heard a song from your childhood that transported you right back there and brought you to tears?
I have; and, when I’ve asked the Lord what in the world is going on with me – always ask the Lord, y’all – He asks me to release the weight of emotion to His loving arms… to forgive what or who needs forgiving (sometimes it’s just me), and to yield to His control the sinewy mess of hurts and woundings attached to it.
Stay in touch with God regularly, that’s the only way you’ll know. He’s the key to your freedom, for He alone holds the plan of deliverance for your life. Stay in touch, beloved. Stay in touch.
Traveling through the “bleck” of life God’s way will always bring you out to the other side, safely.
The bleck might last longer than you think, it might be deeper and broader than you think. You’ll probably need lots of tissue…
but underneath are the everlasting arms of God.
So travel through with Hope for Life on the other side of bleck… there IS life there – I know.
The key is doing things God’s way.
Climbing a tree and settling inside… listening for the Voice of God.
Climbing a tall pine tree and taking a breath, listening for the Voice of God.
It could be a moment, a lightning strike, or aroma… hearing His answer from above.
But I’m off the ground, so that must be good… listening for the Voice of God.
Even though your ears get tired, listen for the Voice of God.
Climb until you’re off the ground and don’t need to climb anymore.
Get yourself settled and be really quiet… listen for the Voice of God.
“I will make a way in the wilderness,” our loving Father will say, “and a path for you in the desert.”
Sit still and listen until you hear Him say, “You have sought Me, you have found Me, and I WILL MAKE A WAY.”
Listen for the faithful Voice of God.
