Inside of Me

Sonnets, stories, and books reside within all of us.  They also reside within me.

They kiss each other and praise God the Father.  They use wisdom and knowledge and understanding to find their way out of me.

I sing praise to the Lord for the praises in each of His children.  I sing praise to Jesus for the love of the Father within me.

My sonnets bow with praise, my stories spout His forgiveness, and books fill the shelves of magnifications to His Name!

There’s a sonnet alive in all of us reaching passionately around the neck of the Father.  And roses drop their petals at the mention of His Name.

“Praise to the Father, praise to the Son, praise to the Spirit – the Three Who are One.  Praise He Who calls butterflies forth from cocoon, and died for our new life, and IS coming soon!”

Bring Your works up and out of me, O, God and let my pen praise You always in writing’s phrases and notebook pages, from now into Eternity.

All That Matters

Rise up within me, O, God Jehovah!

Subdue my flesh and burn it away… make my spirit to praise Your Name!

I LOVE YOU! O, how I love You!

That’s all that matters, anyway.

Your Holy Spirit has robes of white and purple and gray and brightens the night.

Singing sonnets of praise to my delight He dulls the pain then takes it away and I am blessed with another day to make You a blessing to all those who see me and hear and receive Your fire in Truth.

That’s all that matters to my soul any day.

(Thanks to Jack…)

I’ve touched a friend’s life, and I’m happy.

I’ve touched a friend’s life, and I’m glad.

He’s held me and told me I’m pretty,

and he’s urged me not to feel bad

when no one else here wants to hold me

or venture to know my true self.

He told me to realize that only

his words are the truth I have felt.

My friend held me close and he whispered

that he was not lying to me.

Then he told me that I had been gifted

with all that God treasured to  see

in lives simply led and uplifted

by Jesus the Christ’s saving power.

“Don’t let the world tell you no different

than I’ve told you in this same hour.”

My friend’s touched my life, and he’s happy.

My friend’s touched my life, and he’s glad.

What Jesus has done through his kindness

gives me courage I’d never have had.
