God Needs a Willing Heart

It’s true that exposure is our friend, but its strength is drained if there is no will to change.

Jehovah points things out for a reason, but He won’t wrestle you to the ground to change your ways.

Our God needs a willing heart.

Do you fear exposure?  Are you too deep a companion of pride?  It’s a cruel taskmaster, you know.  It’s an enemy, an accuser, and an executioner.

How do you escape such bondage?

Be willing to change.

Ask the Lord to show you how. Ask Him to cover you in His Cloak of Humility and forgive your fearful, proud, resistant heart.

He will… and then exposure can be your friend.  Change – when powered by Jesus – will open the door to freedom in your life as you’re transformed to Christ’s image, just like Father God planned

… but only if you’re willing to change.

Our God needs a willing heart.

He is Faithful

As I approached the end of my honeymoon, my Heavenly Father gently asked, “Did I erase the horror of the old one, Beloved? Did I erase the old one?”  And I was touched beyond measure.  As I rendered my answer, it was with my heart crying tears of joy and thanksgiving…

“Yes, You did, Abba!” I said.  “Thank You so much for giving me another honeymoon and erasing the chaos of the old. I love You.”

“The old is no more, daughter,” He said softly.  “There is only the JOY of the new thing I’ve brought into your life, for I Am Faithful, and I love you.”

Saints, there is NO ONE – and I mean no one – like our Beloved Abba, Who makes the old yield to the new and renews wellsprings of Hope in our lives.  He will “undo” what has been done of old and bring His new and glorious riches into any life who allows it – for indeed, He is Faithful.  Amen.

Be Encouraged

There is never a planting season that is not followed by harvest. It is impossible for there not to be a harvest of what is planted. Seeds are sown and fruit is reaped after its own kind. Plant good seeds, reap good fruit. It is impossible for these things to stop, for it is the command of God that they continue unceasingly.

What you sow you will also reap; keep sowing good seeds, my friends. Be gentle, kind, and understanding. Love the unlovable and pray unceasingly. Even if you have to cry – and you will – always sow good seeds and put your faith in the Maker and Creator of Heaven and Earth. We have the eternal promise of harvest, and He Who promised is faithful.

“And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Gal.6:9)
